"... music therapy has brought a quality of joy into my child's life"
MUSIC THERAPY TRUST in INDIA

In April 2004, Margaret Lobo (Founder and Director of the Otakar Kraus Music Trust) presented its work to the Autistic Society of Mumbai & Delhi; this led to the formation of the first Music Therapy Postgraduate Training programme in India under the aegis of a locally registered Charity.
The Music Therapy Trust, based in Mumbai, will provide a friendly welcome to students from all regions of India who are accepted into the programme. It is estimated that we can train and financially support six music therapists for the duration of the one-year training in India for the same cost of bringing to the UK one person and training them in the UK.
The students who successfully complete the programme will then put their training into practice as qualified Music Therapists throughout India.
