Our very own Kamarra Telesia was invited to perform with the BBC Symphony Orchestra on Friday 17th November as part of the 2017 BBC Children in Need appeal.
Kamarra has been coming to OKMT’s Music School since it began in 2012 and has flourished ever since. She plays for the love of music and has even taken music exams, recently passing Grade 3 violin with Merit.
Kamarra’s performance of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ was truly beautiful and made us so proud to have been part of her musical journey. Kamarra’s story proves that, with the help of Otakar Kraus Music Trust, together with the backing of BBC Children in Need, that “dreams really do come true”.
WELL DONE KAMARRA!
