Hope n Mic Night

Enjoy a HOPE n MIC night in aid of OKMT on 25th January 2019 at Kobi Nazrul Centre, 30 Hanbury Street E1 6QR.  This charity event aims to promote the therapeutic benefits of music and arts for people with Learning Disabilities & Autism with traditional songs from the Indian Subcontinent sung by Dr Sidrah Muntaha, performances from students OK Music School and open mic acts by members of the local communities.

The extended vocal performance by Sidrah Muntaha for the latter part of the evening will focus on semi-classical ghazals from the Indian subcontinent. Sidrah will be accompanied by Keval Joshi (tabla) and Amith Dey (keyboard), and simple translations will be provided for people who may struggle to understand complex sentences.

You may reserve your ticket here for free although there will be an entrance fee at the door of £5 which will be donated to Otakar Kraus Music Trust.
