Unless you live on another planet, you will no doubt have heard that Cruz Beckham has just released his debut single ‘If Every Day Was Christmas’ all in aid of the charity Global’s Make Some Noise. Cruz has been busy promoting his charity single in the build up to Christmas but what he really wanted to do was meet one of the small charities and projects that will benefit from the profits of his single.
We can’t quite believe this happened but as OKMT are one of the charities being supported by Global’s Make Some Noise we were lucky enough to be the charity that Cruz asked to come and see!!
So, on Saturday 10th December, Victoria and Cruz Beckham asked if they could come and meet some of our Music School students before our Christmas Concert!!! Despite being manically busy putting the final touches to the concert, we knew the kids would love this special surprise so there was no way we could say no!
Here are just a few photos from what was the perfect way to kick off our Christmas Concert.
Both students and therapists, led by music director Edison Carolino, were delighted to have Cruz and Victoria visit and have a chance to chat about their experiences at Music School and have photos taken. Cruz was thrilled to meet them and learn about the Music School and wished the children good luck for their Christmas Concert!
General Manager at OKMT Clare Lawrence said “We were just putting the finishing touches to our Christmas Concert taking place that evening, when I received the call from Global’s Make Some Noise asking if Victoria and Cruz could come along and meet some of the children. The children have all worked so hard rehearsing for this concert and we just knew they would be thrilled to get the chance to meet them… so there was no way we could turn them down! They loved meeting Cruz and Victoria and telling them about their Christmas Concert.”
Proceeds from Cruz Beckham’s Christmas single #IfEverydayWasChristmas go to Global Make Some Noise who very generously support OKMT so please get behind this single!
